Family Group Conference Coordinator

Role Responsibility

Fixed Term: 12 Months

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a 12 month Family Group Coordinator  post in South East Kent. 

Applicants will be fully trained and supported in learning the role.  

Candidates are required to have NVQ Level 3 or equivalent in relevant field such as Social Work, teaching, mediation, youth work etc. (If relying on Social Work qualification you will be required to be registered with Social Work England) and have a varied experience of working with children and families at times of distress and conflict. Secondments also considered for internal staff.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
