Role Responsibility

The Education People is owned by Kent County Council and is a one-stop shop for education services, to help you improve learning, wellbeing and children’s development. We support the full age range from early years to young adults, with over 800 products and services available specific to education needs always. Our people are here to support your people and ensure you receive a high quality product and get value for money.

We are seeking to recruit a proactive, forward-thinking, flexible individual to join our Executive Office.  As Executive Business Assistant you will be at the heart of the company providing comprehensive administrative support to the Executive Office.  You will be able to multi-task and work well in a fast-paced environment. You will have a confident telephone manner and be able to prioritise your workload on a day to day basis.  Working as part of a team you will bring your calm and confident nature, experience and methodical approach to your work.  We will welcome your positive outlook and adaptable approach. You will be responsible for producing and preparing resources, developing and maintaining office systems, managing the team mailbox and supporting meetings, including taking minutes.

The successful candidate…

…. will have an area of professional expertise which includes an excellent attitude to teamwork and working on their own initiative.  You will have experience of working in a very busy team in which confidentiality is key. Currently this role is home based and the company is likely to adopt a hybrid approach to working arrangements in the future so we can be flexible.
