Engagement and Consultation Development Officer
Fixed term: 6 months
Kent County Council is looking for an experienced consultation professional to support the Council in providing expert advice and guidance in all areas of consultation and engagement.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and natural communicator, experienced at developing and delivering multiple public consultations simultaneously, providing professional advice and guidance, and driving quality assurance whilst managing risk. We want someone who can persuade and negotiate with diplomacy, to ensure that services continue to engage residents and people who use our services appropriately as decisions are made that might affect them.
You will be involved in planning and delivering consultation and engagement activity end to end, advising on best practise methods, supporting delivery, providing quality assurance, and helping to draw insight from the feedback gathered to support the Council to make meaningful and legally robust decisions. We deliver our consultation and engagement activity both on and offline, including our online engagement website, which the post holder will be required to use on a daily basis.
This role is primarily home based.
