Energy Team Leader
Role Responsibility
An exciting opportunity has arisen to lead the Energy team in delivering a range of renewable energy and low carbon projects across the County, supporting Kent County Council to achieve Net Zero by 2030 and Kent Net Zero by 2050.
This position will be responsible for leading the team in delivering several community and domestic energy projects, ensuring we continue to develop sustainable energy for the businesses and residents of Kent. This position will also be responsible for developing and submitting relevant funding bids from central and local Government.
This full-time role will benefit from hybrid working options with a mixture of working from the office and from home. The office base will be Invicta House, Maidstone.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
