About the Role:

As an Enablement Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting adults (18+) with needs including mental health conditions, learning disabilities, and autism. Working across Kent with a focus on Sittingbourne and Sheerness. Your main role will be to deliver person-centred enablement interventions in the community. Your work will focus on promoting independence, preventing escalation to higher levels of care, and helping individuals achieve their personal goals.

 We are seeking someone who is:

• Compassionate and committed to promoting independence.
• Experienced in supporting individuals with mental health needs, autism, and learning disabilities.
• Confident working independently and collaboratively with multi-agency teams.
• Organised, flexible, and proactive.
• Able to travel across Kent and adapt to changing priorities.
• Comfortable working at pace within the timescales of the enablement programme.
• A team player who values innovation, collaboration, and continuous development.

Additional Information:

• This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure from the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS).
• This is a customer-facing role and requires a good command of spoken English, as outlined in the Immigration Act 2016.
• A Full UK Driving Licence is required. However, reasonable adjustments will be considered under the Equality Act 2010.

Dates: 11^th & 12^th December 2025

Provisional Start Date: 12^th January 2026.
