Enablement Support Worker

Role Responsibility

Kent Enablement at Home delivers Enablement Services to Clients in their own homes.

We are looking to recruit part time Enablement Support Workers in a busy service delivering enablement to people in Dover, Deal and Sandwich areas.

As part of a busy and dynamic team, your role will be to utilise an enablement model of care, in order to provide support to adults who live at home to become as self-caring and independent as possible. The client group is predominantly elderly adults and adults with physical disabilities. The service requires the ability to deliver personal care to clients in order to meet their needs

Good communication skills both verbal and written, an ability to adapt to change are essential for this job role.  Also you will have a willingness to train for a Diploma in Health and Social Care Level 2 (NVQ2) unless already achieved. Full training will be given.

The ability to travel across a wide geographical area within Dover, Deal and Sandwich, and on occasion the surrounding areas in a timely and flexible manner at various times of the day is essential.

Shift Patterns includes evenings, weekends and early mornings.
