Enablement Support Worker
Role Responsibility

Kent Enablement at Home (KEaH) provide domiciliary-based short term enablement services across Kent. This is an exciting opportunity to join a team of dedicated staff who support people to regain their independence. You will visit people in their own homes and work with them to regain their confidence in carrying out a range of daily living task, including washing, dressing, making a meal for themselves and more.
Hours include alternate weekends and some evening work and hours will be fixed to a two-week shift pattern.
We require good communication skills, an ability to adapt to change and willingness to train for Diploma in Health and Social Level 2 unless you have already achieved this qualification. Previous experience is not necessary as full training will be given however a passion to work with people is a must.

The ability to travel across a wide geographical area in a timely and flexible manner at various times of the day is essential. You should note that public transport is rarely a viable option as your role will involve travelling to rural areas, often with limited public transport.
