What we are looking for ?
A person who is:-
-motivated, supportive and has inclusion at the heart of what they do.
-experienced in supporting young people in Post 16 educational settings - and can bring their knowledge / approaches to working at VSK
-able to work independently in a range of educational settings and as part of a team
-understanding about safety being paramount for our children / young people
-flexible and adaptive to the different needs of our children and young people
This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
The contract will be fixed term until 01.04.2024 as it is linked to annual funding. Contracts will be reviewed when funding announcements have been made for the next financial year.
Part of the working week could be spent in different educational settings or offices across the area.

This post is Full Time and applications are being accepted in all areas of Kent.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
