Domestic Abuse Project Officer

Role Responsibility

An opportunity has arisen for a motivated and experienced Project Officer to join the Domestic Abuse Team within Strategy, Policy and Assurance. 

You will develop, manage, deliver and review activity relating to specific projects and areas of work within a multi-agency environment in order to ensure progress against the activity of the Kent and Medway Domestic Abuse Action Plan.

You will have project management experience and excellent communication skills, with the ability to build effective relationships and partnerships with internal and external stakeholders.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.

Although this job is advertised as full time we are happy to consider part time applications. Please make your available hours clear on your application.

Sessions House, Maidstone is the primary location, however currently working at home with potentially some office working in Maidstone.
