DofE Expedition Support Worker
Role Responsibility
Assist with the delivery of DofE Expedition activities under Kent County Council’s DofE Approved Activity Provider Licence. The roles include Expedition Instructor, Expedition Supervisor and Expedition Assessor. Note that this role will involve significant weekend residential work with some mid-week availability required.
Most of the work will take place during the expedition season but some leader and expedition training events will take place in the winter period.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
