District Manager - Tunbridge Wells

About the Role

As a Family Hubs District Manager, you will lead the development and delivery of 0–19 (25) Family Hub services across your district. This includes managing a team of professionals, building strong partnerships, and ensuring services are accessible, inclusive, and responsive to local needs—both digitally and Locally.
 
You’ll play a pivotal role in shaping the future of family support in Kent, embedding co-production, safeguarding, and sustainability into everything you do.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage Family Hub services, ensuring timely and effective support for families.
  • Develop and maintain strategic partnerships to strengthen the Early Help system.
  • Oversee local business planning, service quality, and resource deployment.
  • Champion digital innovation and community resilience through volunteering and peer support.
  • Ensure services are data-driven, inclusive, and aligned with national Family Hub standards.

What We’re Looking For

  • A degree or equivalent qualification with a strong commitment to professional development.
  • Significant leadership experience in Early Years, Youth Work, or related services.
  • Proven ability to manage complex partnerships, budgets, and service delivery.
  • Strong understanding of safeguarding, child development, and family support frameworks.
  • A values-driven leader who is brave, curious, compassionate, and collaborative.
