Directorate Personal Assistant

Role Responsibility

We have an exciting opportunity to join a small friendly and supportive team providing support to the Directorate Management team as a Directorate Personal Assistant.

We are seeking a confident, proactive and positive individual who is experienced in delivering a highly efficient and smooth service.

This is a fast paced and varied role where no day will be the same. We are looking for someone who possesses excellent IT, organisational  and problem-solving skills. You will need to have the ability to handle complex diary management and devise and oversee a range of administrative tracking systems on behalf of the Director/Assistant Director. 

This role would be suited to a confident multi-tasker who is able to manage competing demands whilst at the same time maintaining a good eye for detail. You should enjoy working as part of an effective team but also work independently to a high standard.

You may have access to sensitive information so should have a strong understanding of the need for confidentiality at all times.

This post is subject to a Basic Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.

The contractual base is Invicta House, Maidstone, plus options for hybrid working.
