In this vital role, you’ll set the direction for our environmental and waste policies. You’ll get to know our diverse physical landscape, which includes urban areas, country parks and historic coastal environments. With this knowledge, you’ll oversee issues surrounding waste disposal and climate change.

You’ll partner with several high-profile utility providers, councils and developers. In doing so, you’ll ensure that our priorities are understood, and that we maximise all potential funding opportunities. Credible, focused and driven, you’ll have a successful track record of working at a senior strategic level in local government. Plus, you’ll have experience of contributing to climate change and community conservation agendas, and the overall improvement of waste management services.
