Direct Payment Assistant
Role Responsibility

As a Direct Payment Assistant within the Direct Payment Team, you will be responsible for providing support to people that choose to arrange their own support via a Direct Payment.
We work closely with the community teams across the whole of KCC and cover a helpline to help answer questions to internal teams and members of the public.
To be successful you will need to:
- Have good administration skills
- Work well independently and as part of a team
- Provide support and information to your colleagues where appropriate
- Be proficient in Microsoft applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook and MS Teams
- Have an eye for detail and problem solving
You will be required to use client systems, process Direct Payment Paperwork, complete monitoring reviews, support with recruitment adverts, manage the email inbox, complete data quality checks and answer incoming calls to the Direct Payment Helpline. (Full training will be given.)
