Digital Production Manager
Role Responsibility
We’re looking for an efficient, highly organised and easy to work with Production Manager to join our busy Marketing and Resident Experience (MRX) team.
The MRX Team leads Kent County Council’s communications, marketing, engagement and customer feedback functions and works to help design and improve the resident and user experience through various contact channels.
This is an exciting new role and a great opportunity for a highly-rated and experienced production manager to oversee the delivery of a diverse portfolio of digital projects and activities, often centred on the council’s main website: www.kent.gov.uk.
You will be responsible for:
- maximising resources with your (epic) production management system
- prioritising, scheduling and coordinating loads of stuff (at the same time)
- building effective relationships to get things done smoothly (could get RACI)
- making sure digital projects are delivered on time (obvs.)
- helping to achieve important organisational goals (with brilliant digital experiences)
About you
- You’re great at organising yourself and others to deliver
- You know how to establish and run a smooth and efficient production schedule
- You have an excellent track record of successfully delivering multiple, concurrent digital projects
- You know what’s involved in creating, developing and continuously improving high-traffic, mission critical websites
- You’re able to effectively manage your own small team but are also able influence and direct colleagues that you don’t directly manage
- You’re not afraid to challenge or to be challenged, you curious to know how things can be improved and you work exceptionally well as part of a multi-disciplinary team, focused on shared goals.
- It matters to you that the work you’ll do here will be helping the residents and communities of Kent.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position.
