Digital Accessibility Lead
Role Responsibility
Kent County Council are looking for a digital accessibility specialist to join the Technology team to drive forwards its industry-leading Digital Accessibility Agenda, focusing on technical compliance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No.2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.
Kent County Council are leaders in the public sector on digital accessibility best practice, including being a member of the National Digital Accessibility Working Group (DAWG), co-creating the Lexdis Toolkit and hosting annual Kent Digital Accessibility Conferences.
Candidates should have experience implementing digital accessibility strategy in a large organisation as well as strong knowledge of accessibility best practice, relevant legislation and the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines.
