Delivery Driver
Role Responsibility
We are seeking applications for a Part-Time Delivery driver within the Kent Libraries, Registration & Archives (LRA) transport team.
Our small team of drivers deliver to and collect from LRA sites across the whole of Kent, including libraries, residential/care homes, register offices and prison libraries.
Working out of our warehouse depot in Aylesford you will be provided with a company mobile, work clothing and use of a LWB transit sized van to carry out deliveries and collections.
This is a permanent part-time position of 22.2 hours per week.
Monday 7am to 3pm
Thursday 7am to 3pm
Friday 7am to 3pm
A reasonable level of fitness is required due to the nature of deliveries.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
This role is subject to holding a full UK Driving Licence.
