Creative Services Buyer
Role Responsibility
We are looking for a motivated and highly organised Creative Services Buyer to join our busy Marketing and Resident Experience (MRX) team.
Our communications matter. They help better inform Kent residents of what the council does. Being a buyer for Kent County Council is about helping to make communications that have impact and make a real difference. You will be responsible for helping us procure quality creative work and see it through to print or publication online.
Working closely with our other creative services buyer, you will respond to multiple creative and print work requests, often at short notice. You should thrive on working to tight deadlines and enjoy working with a range of stakeholders, including creatives, print suppliers and colleagues across the organisation.
Requirements
- You’re meticulously organised with great attention to detail
- You can handle multiple tasks and projects
- You love to collaborate, both with your own team members and with a range of stakeholders
- You understand how to buy value for money design and print services
You can
- Work well with a wide range of professionals
- Have great organisational skills
- See a spelling mistake at fifty paces
- Understand how to act as a Brand Guardian
- Be comfortable working on PC or Mac and have a good working knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
