Role Responsibility

This is your opportunity to join the Waste Management team as a County Waste Liaison Officer.

If you are experienced in waste management or have a desire to learn about waste, then we would love to hear from you. We are offering an excellent opportunity to join a small, friendly, and supportive team.

You must be a self-motivated, flexible, individual who possesses exceptional interpersonal skills along with strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate in person, on the telephone and in writing at all levels. You will need to be organised and able to work on your own initiative but also as part of a team.

The role will require you to be a first point of contact for the waste management team and analyse large amounts of data. You will then use this data to provide support to both the team and the Kent Resource Partnership that includes all Kent Councils. The enthusiasm to encourage waste reduction, recycling, and the understanding of the value of waste is important within this role.

A good experience in the use of Excel and office packages is essential. If this sounds like the job for you then please apply.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council
