County LADO Service Contact & Referral Officer (CRO)
Role Responsibility
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Safeguarding & Quality Assurance Unit (children) for a Contact and Referral Officer to provide effective support to the County Local Authority Designated Officer (LADO) Service.
You will have excellent interpersonal and communication skills along with the confidence to deal with a variety of multi-disciplinary professionals on a range of matters and the ability to handle highly sensitive and confidential information. You will need to provide a timely, accurate and efficient response to contacts and referrals from the public, partner agencies and other organisations in accordance with Directorate Policy and Guidance. You will be required to maintain LADO records in accordance with data protection and information governance procedure.
You will have a high level of organisation and prioritisation skills along with a good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, Outlook and Excel. The role requires a degree of multi-tasking and working under pressure during busy times. This role is not a traditional administrative role and no two days are the same.
