Countryside Partnership Officer - Community Engagement

Role Responsibility

The North West Kent Countryside Partnership is recruiting a new part time Countryside Officer. Based at our office at Hall Place, Bexley, you will be working across north west Kent in the boroughs of Bexley, Dartford, Sevenoaks and Gravesham.

Your role will be to manage a range of nature based community projects which could include delivering community engagement events, environmental education and Forest School over a number of sites as well as being an integral part of the wider Countryside Partnership team.

We’re looking for someone with a background in countryside management, a strong community engagement and environmental education experience, a Forest school level 3 qualification and a passion for linking people with nature.

This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
