Corporate Accountant
Role Responsibility
We are pleased to announce a new opportunity for a Corporate Accountant, on the basis of a 12 month Fixed Term Contract, full-time. Both internal and external applications are welcome. This role would normally be based at Sessions House, Maidstone, but due to Covid-19 conditions, remote working from home is preferable.
As a Corporate Accountant your role will be vital to championing Continuous Improvement within Finance Operations. As such, you will lead large transformation projects, and will work collaboratively with our Capital, Revenue and Strategy teams. You will liaise with other senior officers across KCC to strengthen financial business intelligence and to achieve best practice. From time-to-time you will also work with external consultants such as PriceWaterhouse Coopers and CIPFA, to drive forward system improvements and new initiatives.
