Cook - Treetops Short breaks Unit
Role Responsibility
Temporary Part Time, Up to 6 Months
Treetops Short breaks Unit offers short breaks for children and young people with Learning Disabilities, some of whom have additional needs.
We are seeking a motivated cook to assist in the preparation of nutritious meals for up to six young people and four staff.?
You will be asked to ensure the efficient running of the kitchen, complying with Health & Safety requirements, checking equipment and ordering supplies.
A Level 2 qualification in Food Safety is required.? Additional training will be provided, and you need to be willing to attend training to fulfil your role.
The post includes working alternate weekends, and evening work?
Interviews will be conducted under the ‘Choosing with Care’ assessment process.
This post involves working closely with children, therefore this post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
