Content Creator (Virtual Learning Platform)

Help shape an exciting development project, supporting Children and Young People's education and wellbeing.
Join an exciting new project team to create interactive online learning content for the Virtual Learning Platform (VLP) within Kent County Council, Children, Education and Young People Directorate.
The current VLP has been developed (in-house) to deliver continued access to education for Children and Young People currently without a school place; to assist with the transition to their onward education provision.
Working closely with the VLP Content Development Lead and the VLP Content Editors you will use online technology to create engaging online activities, lessons, and schemes of work to build CYP confidence and engagement with learning.
KCC is looking for individuals who:
- Can work autonomously, and deliver at pace
- Are passionate about making a difference in this area
- Are creative, dynamic thinkers
- Are competent self-starters with strong relationship skills.
Interviews are expected to be held the week commencing 18th October 2021. They will take place remotely via MS Teams and may, according to the specific role, require candidates to undertake some competency-based tests.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
