Community Safety Social and Digital Media Assistant
Role Responsibility
We are looking for a highly motivated individual to join our small team to develop and deliver social and digital media platforms and content for the Community Warden Service. This is an exciting time to be working with the Community Warden Service as it is at the forefront of supporting communities and vulnerable residents during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond. Community Wardens are a highly valued and much needed community service and we are looking for a committed team player to support the Service by increasing service engagement with the target audience, raising awareness of the service and protecting vulnerable residents through effective online communications.
You don’t need to have lots of experience but you do need to have the relevant knowledge, training and skills to deliver effective social media communications, including the production and editing of videos. You will receive support, coaching and guidance from a social media expert to develop your skills and knowledge further and to implement what you have learnt.
The postholder will be required to travel around Kent for meetings as and when required and for effective delivery of the social media and digital services for the Community Warden Service.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position.
