Commissioning and Commercial Assistant

Role Responsibility

We are currently looking to recruit Commissioning Support Assistant to join a dedicated COVID-19 team aligned to the Public Health Commissioning team within the Strategic Commissioning Directorate.

This is an exciting short-term opportunity supporting the Kent County Council’s response to the current Coronavirus pandemic. This fixed term post will run until 31^st March 2022 with a possible extension till 30^th June 2022.

In this role you will provide support to Commissioners, Senior Commissioners on a wide range of activities across the commissioning cycle. Your role will be pivotal in Kent County Council’s response to the current Coronavirus pandemic.

This is a fixed term post until 31^st March 2022 with a possible extension till 30^th June 2022.

An urgent start date is required so the successful candidate should be available to start within 2-3 weeks of an offer being made, subject to the necessary employment checks.

This post is subject to a Basic Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.

Interviews will be held on either the 26^th April or the 7^th May 2021.  Interviews will take place virtually via Microsoft Teams.
