Role Responsibility
We are offering an attractive opportunity as a Commissioner in the Children’s Commissioning Team.
We are looking for a motivated individual who embraces new approaches and new ways of working, and can engage with a range of stakeholders at all levels. The role plays an important part in ensuring that commissioning activities undertaken by the local authority are evidence-based and provide value for money, that meets the needs of the children of Kent.
You will work closely with Senior Commissioners, internal and external partners to ensure key processes are followed and service priorities are met. Applicants will need to have strong commissioning skills, should be experienced in successfully managing complex projects and multi-agency working, communication and analytical skills, and have the ability to prioritise workloads in order to meet deadlines.
The closing date for applications is 28 March 2025. Interviews will be held in the week commencing 7 April 2025 and will take place virtually via Microsoft Teams.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
