Role Responsibility
Kent County Council are looking to recruit two experienced Fixed Term Commissioners to join the newly formed Integrated Commissioning Team.
The roles play an important part in ensuring that commissioning activities undertaken by the local authority are evidence-based and provide value for money via an agreed commissioning plan, that meets the needs of the citizens in Kent.
You will work closely with Senior Commissioners and the Procurement and Commercial team to ensure key processes are followed and service priorities met. Applicants should be experienced in successfully managing complex projects, multi-agency working, possess excellent business acumen, communication and analytical skills and the ability to prioritise workloads in order to meet deadlines.
This role is hybrid: working from home with an element of office working from Invicta House in Maidstone or other local council offices. This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position and the Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
