We are looking for individuals with experience in the Health or Social Care sector to work as part of our team supporting adults in West Kent. If you are committed to working in integrated teams and ready to embrace change alongside new ways of working this would be the perfect challenge for you.

As a Case Officer you will manage a caseload of cases requiring assessment, review and on-going support to make a real difference in achieving improved outcomes, promoting the independence of our service users.

The new Older People Physical Disability (OPPD) service operates with modernised office processes and performance management systems. It is increasingly accessible to the public outside of traditional office hours, as we move towards an 8 am to 8 pm, 7 days a week service to ensure service needs are met.     

The role requires you to be mobile throughout a wide operational area including travelling around the county of Kent and beyond.

This post is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service and two satisfactory references.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
