Case Officer - Quality & Standards Team
Role Responsibility
We have an exciting opportunity for a Case Officer to join the Quality and Standards Team, in a role with a difference!
Please note that this is a full time, fixed term contract until the end of March 2026.
As a Case Officer working alongside people with a wide range of additional care and support needs you will be responsible for co-ordinating and conducting service and Statutory reviews of care and support provision
These will be completed by viewing supported living houses holistically which can provide a clearer overview of where needs can be met creatively.
In addition, the Quality and Standards Team are starting to explore how a similar model can be utilised when reviewing residential provision which will enable full oversight of how people are supported with core hours and additional direct support where needed.

- Use a wide range of knowledge to support the team in ensuring we are achieving the best outcomes for both the individual and KCC.

The Quality and Standards team work across the whole of Kent requiring applicants to be able to travel a large geographical area on a regular basis.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
