Carriageway Asset Preservation Team Manager

Role Responsibility

We are seeking a team manager to manager our Carriageway Asset Preservation Team with Highways and Transportation. Using excellent technical, management and people skills you will lead a professional team of pavement engineers to deliver KCC’s carriageway asset preservation service, balancing asset management principles, network condition and local needs. 

It is likely to be an exciting time for the post and the Highways Asset Management and Inspections Team more widely as we further develop our asset management approach and implement measures to contribute to Net Zero.  This will involve innovation and working closely with partners including our supply chain.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
