Care Worker
Role Responsibility
Gravesham Place Registered Care Centre has positions for Permanent Part Time Care Workers to work with Dementia and Non-Dementia Service Users.
Gravesham Place is an 80 bedded integrated Care setting offering Respite, Enablement & Assessment beds for adults
We are situated close to town near to all transport links and the amenities of Gravesend.
You will be joining a team which provides person centred care supporting Service Users to maintain and improve their mobility and independence and achieve identified goals with the assistance of in-house Occupational Therapists.
We are looking for enthusiastic individuals with a “Can do” and caring approach.
Applicants must be flexible and reliable and willing to work a mixture of shifts which will include weekends and bank holidays.
Our set shift hours are.
Earlies - 7:00am – 2:30pm
Lates – 2:00pm – 9:30pm
Applicants must demonstrate a willingness to undertake NVQ 2 if they do not already have it.
Applicants must have good communication skills and the ability to interact with Service Users and their families.
To successful candidates we offer a comprehensive induction including The Care Certificate, in-house training, shadowing and regular supervision.
