Business Support - Youth Participation
Role Responsibility
We are seeking to recruit a highly motivated, friendly and supportive Business Support Officer to join the Youth Participation Team. The post is part-time, covering 21.5 hours per week.
This is a demanding role where you will need a calm and organised approach, alongside excellent communication skills. You will be in regular contact with young people and their parents/ carers in the planning of countywide events.
You will be a skilled, motivated administrator, with administrative experience, proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook, and in organising your own time. Experience of developing content for webpages and social media would also be beneficial or a willingness to learn.
This role does involve occasional weekend work to support at events with young people.
This post is subject to a Basic Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
