Business Support Officer
Role Responsibility
We are looking for someone who can work flexibly in a challenging and fast paced setting to become a Business Support Officer in the Thanet Children In Care Team working across two office settings, St Peter’s House in Broadstairs and Brook House in Whitstable.
You will be managing a team providing a professional service for colleagues, children and families and will be a skilled, motivated administrator and manager, proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook, with excellent communication and management skills. You will need to use your initiative and leadership skills to support and develop the team of Business Support Assistants ensuring that they are able to support social work colleagues with a range of tasks.
You will also need to demonstrate a confident manner in liaising with professionals and organisations, acting as a contact point for the district, coordinating and minuting a range of meetings and monitoring performance. You should be prepared to undertake occasional travel and to liaise with colleagues across the county. The work is varied and demanding and we need someone with a calm and organised approach who can make a positive contribution to the success of the team.
