Business Support Officer

If so, we have an exciting opportunity to join the North Kent Children in Care Service as a Business Support Officer within Integrated Children’s Services. The role is based at The Willows in Swanley, Kent.

As a Business Support Officer, you will support Practitioners and Team Managers on a range of tasks and work alongside colleagues to assist in the smooth running of the Business Support Service in North Kent. This is a varied and challenging post and requires someone with excellent organisation and communication skills and previous administrative experience.

To succeed in this role you will need to have an empathetic caring approach, with the ability to remain emotionally resilient. You will need to be able to proactively manage your workload and support the wider team, whilst responding to urgent requests and deadlines. You will often be the first point of contact for the service and need to be confident in liaising with families, colleagues, and professionals within a multi-agency environment.

We are looking for someone with administrative experience, who is confident in dealing with a variety of responsibilities and using a range of IT packages. You will be responsible for providing full confidential business support and accurate case recording on electronic systems. You will also support a range of meetings, organising, and taking accurate minutes.
