Business Support Officer

Role Responsibility

We are looking for a Business Support Officer to join the Dartford Children's Social Work Team based at The Willows, Swanley.  This is a demanding and challenging role, and you will need a calm and organised approach, alongside excellent communication skills.

You will be working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, providing support to team managers and social workers in the district.  You will liaise with families, professionals and colleagues with responsibilities including arranging and minuting meetings, tracking timescales, acting as the first point of contact for phone queries and completing tasks on our children's service system.  You will be a skilled, motivated administrator, with strong, proven administrative experience, proficient in Word, Excel and Outlook. You should be able to proactively manage your workload whilst responding to urgent requests and deadlines and be able to work flexibly alongside team members.

The work is varied - you will be expected to deal with a wide range of issues and be flexible about sharing duties as required throughout the team.  You will have the ability to produce high quality and comprehensive minutes which are of a highly sensitive nature.
