Business Support Officer
Role Responsibility
We are seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join our team within Children’s Services. This role involves assisting the Senior Business Support Officer with administrative services required by the Assistant Director of Integrated Children’s Services in East Kent.
Our offices are in Broadstairs and Whitstable and your contractual base would be either St Peters House in Broadstairs or Brook House in Whitstable. However, support at either location may be required.
The Area Administration Service is a small team of three, working collaboratively to ensure the efficient and effective delivery of administrative services to the Assistant Director and their direct reports. Teamwork is essential to provide seamless support.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist the Senior Business Support Officer with administrative tasks.
- Manage multiple mailboxes, including the mailbox for expert fee invoices.
- Use systems to identify child-level data and disseminate information to relevant Leads.
- Liaise professionally and courteously with staff at all levels.
- Ensure quality assurance of information presented to the office.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of managing administrative processes.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
- Willingness to continually update skills in line with fast-moving technological advancements.
