Business Support Officer - Youth Justice Service
Role Responsibility
An opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and organised Business Support Officer to join the Youth Justice Service (Central Referral Order Team) . You will be working as part of the Youth Justice team providing administrative support to assist in the smooth running of the service.
The successful candidate will be work alongside our Youth Justice Team Managers to plan and coordinate Referral Order panels across the County. You will liaise with front line professionals, volunteers and young people and will therefore be someone with excellent organisation and communication skills. You must be able to proactively manage your workload whilst responding to urgent requests and deadlines. You will have strong administrative and IT skills and the ability to collate and manage data. You will also need to demonstrate a confident manner in liaising with the public, professionals, and organisations, acting as a contact point for the service. You will coordinate appointments and monitor applications and timescales. The work is interesting, varied and demanding, and we need someone with a calm and organised approach who can make a positive contribution to the success of the team.
You will have an excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office and be able to demonstrate good communication skills whilst working under pressured time frames. You will have the ability to work under your own initiative in a demanding environment.
