Business Support Officer - Integrated Children’s Services

Role Responsibility

We are looking for a Business Support Officer to join our team in Sevenoaks South and Tunbridge Wells providing invaluable professional support to Social Work staff in West Kent.

The successful candidate will need to demonstrate excellent organisation and communication skills. You must be able to proactively manage your workload and support the wider team, whilst responding to urgent requests and deadlines. Often Business Support are the first point of contact for our service and you need to be confident in liaising with families, colleagues, and professionals within a multi-agency environment.

You will have strong administrative experience and the ability to collate and manage a range of information and data. Good IT skills and a working knowledge of MS Teams, Word and Excel, as well as experience of using Outlook to monitor and deal with email correspondence.

You will be required to ensure that the recording of information is accurate and up to date. You will have responsibility for arranging a variety of meetings and be expected to produce minutes of a sensitive nature with a high level of accuracy. We need you to be able to prioritise your own workload, to use your initiative to meet tight deadlines as well as be flexible in sharing duties with colleagues in the team.  

The work is varied and demanding, and we need someone with a calm and organised approach who can make a positive contribution to the success of the team.
