Business Support Officer - Dartford & Gravesham

Role Responsibility

We are excited to announce a job opening for a Business Support role within our Children's Social Work Team based in The Willows, Dartford & Milton Haig, Gravesend .

This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals passionate about making a difference in the lives of children and families.

Children’s Social Work Services (CSWS) are responsible for the safeguarding and welfare of vulnerable children, young people and their families

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide administrative and operational support to the social work team.
  • “live” minutes using a laptop
  • Manage schedules, appointments, and communications with clients and team members.
  • knowledge of MS Office packages and the ability to use dedicated database applications.
  • Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and documentation.
  • Ensure confidentiality and compliance with policies and regulations.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in administrative support or a similar role.
  • Strong organisational and communication skills.
  • excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Commitment to the values and principles of Kent County Council.
