Business Support Officer - Ashford Early Help Team
Role Responsibility
Full time – Fixed Term until 29th August 2025
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Support Officer within our Ashford Early Help Team. This is a full-time fixed term position until 29 August 2025 to cover maternity leave, working Monday – Friday 8:30am to 5.00pm, based at Kroner House, Ashford with some home working.
This role is key to providing professional support to Early Help Workers supporting children and families in Ashford and surrounding areas and you will also be part of a wider South Kent team offering support to colleagues.
We are looking for someone with a calm and organised approach who would like to make a positive contribution.
You will need to demonstrate excellent organisation and communication skills.
You must be able to proactively manage your workload and support the wider team, whilst responding to urgent requests and deadlines.
You will often be the first point of contact for our service and need to be confident in liaising with families, colleagues, and professionals within a multi-agency environment.
We are looking for someone with administrative experience and who is confident dealing with a variety of responsibilities and using a range of IT packages (MS Applications, Databases, etc).
You will be responsible for handling sensitive information, checking and recording data, as well as liaising with colleagues to arrange and support a variety of meetings. Our support is crucial to allowing Early Help Workers to focus on supporting local families.
You should enjoy working as part of an effective team but also work independently to a high standard whilst working remotely.
