Business Support Manager
Role Responsibility
Countywide Services encompasses teams who offer specialist services to Adult Social Care, including DOLS, Sensory Services, AMHPs, Forensics, Early Discharge pathways, Quality and Standards and Operational Support Services.
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Business Support Manager in Countywide Services, Adult Social Care. The role is full time and initially for a 1-year fixed term contract or secondment opportunity. The role encompasses critical support to all areas of business support, readiness and change.
As a Business Support Manager you will be responsible for:
- Championing change by driving best practice and consistency
- Business planning and project management
- Having a hands-on approach to business engagement working closely with partners to deliver strategic objectives
- Analysing performance data, identifying potential risks or trends and propose/implement solutions to maintain and exceed performance expectations.
- Monitoring and reporting on team performance
- Providing management oversight to a large team of business support staff
- Budget responsibilities
As our Business Support Manager, you will have:
- Strong leadership and organisational skills, with an ability to motivate teams of people to achieve targets.
- Solution focussed and high levels of personal motivation and ability to lead by example
- Experience of financial tracking and forecasting
- Ability to analyse and interpret performance data in order to maximise opportunities for driving high performance.
- Excellent time management skills
- Experience of working in a fast paced, evolving environment with the ability to manage multiple and competing priorities.
