North Kent Business Support Team - Dartford Gravesend and Swanley Business Support Team - Administration Officer
Hybrid / Office based working in Gravesham Civic Centre, Gravesend.
This is an exciting role for a motivated person working as an integral part of the North Kent Business Support Team. We are looking for an Administration Officer to provide support to busy teams of Adult Social Care practitioners.
We currently have a role working alongside our North Kent Adult Social Care Referral Service.
You will be working within the Business Support Team which makes up an essential part of the Adult Social Care team in North Kent. Administration Officers are the first point of contact for members of the public and deal with a variety of administration tasks. You will need to be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team, as well as communicating with the people we support, their representatives and other professionals by phone and email.
You will be educated to GCSE level or equivalent. You will undertake a wide range of administrative tasks and have excellent communication skills. You will be computer literate, be able to develop, maintain and monitor office systems. This will include inputting, updating, modifying, and retrieving data on our Mosaic and Power-BI systems.
You will be able to work well within a very busy team, prioritise your work and demonstrate flexibility. Minute taking for a variety of professional meetings will be an essential part of your role.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
