Business Support Assistant
Role Responsibility
We are inviting applications for a fixed term contract until 31/01/22 in the role of Business Support Assistant within the East Kent Children’s Social Work Services.
This role primarily supports social workers in the Ramsgate and Margate social work teams and is based at St Peters House. This is a demanding and challenging role and you will need a calm and organised approach, alongside excellent communication skills.
You will be working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment, providing invaluable professional support to the Service. You will share responsibility with Business Support colleagues for liaising with families, professionals, and colleagues, arranging and minuting meetings, tracking timescales, acting as the first point of contact for queries and completing tasks on Liberi. You will be a skilled, motivated administrator, proficient in Word, Excel, and Outlook, and in organising your own time and supporting others in doing the same.
This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
