Business Support Assistant - ICS Central Monitoring & Compliance
Role Responsibility
Integrated Children's Service Business Support are recruiting a Business Support Assistant to work within the Subject Access Request side of the Central Monitoring & Compliance team. Before we get to the job specifics, we’d like to put our cards on the table and outline our offer.

- A starting salary of £21,293 with annual performance related pay increases

Who are we looking for?
Ideally, you’ll have some experience and skills in line with those outlined within the Job Description. However, we are more interested in your potential and aptitude for learning.
Your main day-to-day activities within the Integrated Children's Services SAR team include but are not limited to:
- Monitoring a busy email inbox/phone line, and responding to enquiries in a timely manner.
- Communicating with KCC's Records Management Service, ordering archive files and scanning them as necessary.
- Providing support to teams one SAR referrals are received and liaising with KCC's Information Resiliency & Transparency team to pass on disclosures.
- Using Adobe Pro to provide case holding teams with redaction support.
Staff within Central Monitoring & Compliance play a vital role in supporting a range of front-line Business Support staff and practitioners across teams such as Children's Social Work, Youth Justice, Early Help Units, Children’s Centres, Adolescent Social Work and School Attendance & Inclusion – naturally with such a broad spectrum of provision, we place a big emphasis not only on your initial induction but also your continued professional learning and development.
