Business Support Assistant - Active Kent & Medway Team

Role Responsibility

Active Kent & Medway is one of 43 Active Partnerships in England. We are hosted by Kent County Council and funded by Sport England. Our purpose is to get ‘more people, more active, more often’ and we work with a wide range of partners to help achieve this.

We are seeking to appoint a Business Support Assistant to provide day to day administrative support to the Active Kent and Medway team.  This role includes but not limited to processing financial transactions, monitoring team mailbox, managing and organising the team’s digital files, booking venues and monitoring and purchasing merchandise and office supplies.

The role provides an exciting opportunity for someone with experience of financial and administrative roles. 

This post is subject to a Basic Disclosure Application to the Disclosure and Barring Service.

This post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements.
