Role Responsibility

Contract Duration: 18 months

A Kent County Council Apprenticeship will give you the opportunity to earn a salary and gain a qualification whilst gaining valuable workplace skills and experience.

An opportunity has arisen to join the Growth, Environment and Transport Directorate as an Apprentice within the Portfolio Team. The role is to provide administrative/clerical business support to assist in the smooth running of the service and take a proactive role in relation to its day to day functioning.

You will be responsible for various tasks including arranging meetings, maintaining office systems, dealing with customer enquiries and project support activity. You will also liaise with Members and senior management offices to ensure they are able to  carry out their duties effectively.

The physical office is based in Invicta House, Maidstone, though initially you will be working from home. IT equipment will be provided.

This is a great opportunity to gain a Level 3 qualification in Business Administration whilst working for a large, diverse, rapidly changing organisation.

Salary starts at £170.50 per week, with the opportunity to increase based on performance.
