Business Support Apprentice
Role Responsibility
Fixed Term : 18 Months
An exciting opportunity has arisen for 5 apprentices to join our innovative and collaborative team within Integrated Children’s Services. This apprenticeship offers you the opportunity to earn a salary and obtain a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification in Business Administration whilst working for a large, diverse, rapidly changing organisation, and gaining valuable workplace skills and experience.
As a Business Support Apprentice within Integrated Children’s Services, you will learn how to deliver a wide range of business support functions as part of the following teams: Central Monitoring & Compliance, Children’s Social Work, Early Help, Open Access, Children in Care, Safeguarding and many more. There are a variety of locations available for this position across Kent.
You will work alongside experienced colleagues who will support your learning and development. You will be given a variety of opportunities to build your portfolio of work and experience in line with your accredited learning, such as coding, automation, data analysis and interpretation.
We are looking for individuals with a can-do attitude who are motivated and keen to learn. Whilst we do have some minimum criteria outlined on the Job Description, we are more interested in your potential and would love to hear from you whatever your current level of experience.

As this post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
