Your Role: As a Business Support Apprentice in the Central Monitoring & Compliance team, you’ll:

  • Expand your existing technical skills and enhance your knowledge on data protection.
  • Support the teams that help Kent’s children and families.
  • Work alongside two experienced business support leads and learn both sides of the business.
  • Innovate and streamline processes, support information requests, and network across Kent County Council.
  • Build your learning and portfolio in information governance, coding, automation, data protection, and analysis.

Your Salary: 

As an apprentice, you will start off on a salary of £18,000 pa, rising to £23,337 pa after a successful probation period.  

Important Note:

As this post is considered by KCC to be a customer-facing position. The Council therefore has a statutory duty under Part 7 of the Immigration Act (2016) to ensure that post holders have a command of spoken English/Welsh sufficient for the effective performance of the job requirements. The appropriate standards are set out in the Job Description/Person Specification.
