Business Services Apprentice
Role Responsibility
An interesting and diverse opportunity has arisen for two administration apprentices to join Kent County Council’s Business Services team. One vacancy will be supporting Kent Scientific Services based in Kings Hill and the other will primarily support Trading Standards and will be based at Kroner House, Ashford.
This apprenticeship offers you the opportunity to earn a salary and obtain a nationally recognised Level 3 qualification in Business Administration, whilst gaining valuable skills and experience working in an office environment as well as to acquire an understanding of various departments supported by Business Services.
We will support the successful candidate, over an 18 month placement period, to achieve a Business Administration Level 3 (Advanced) qualification to enable you to develop administration skills, customer-handling skills, oral communication skills and IT skills.
You will play a key role within the team and will undertake a range of day-to-day clerical and administrative duties.
We are looking for individuals with a can-do attitude, motivated and eager to learn.
Starting salary of £14,952 per annum (increased to £21,293 following completion of probation).
